Business Rumors
Rumors of american marketing, businesses, and everything else in
between.
Disney:
Did a disgruntled
employ draw a phallus on the cover of "The Little Mermaid"?
First of all, as
the spire in question does look phallic in design it was not and was
not
meant to be such. Second
of all the artist who drew the cover for the movie "The Little
Mermaid" was not
even an employ of Disney so that rules out the disgruntled employ
part. This drawing wasn't
only featured on the cover of the video either. It has also
appeared on posters,
cover art, and many other items of sale that were released as
"The Little Mermaid"
merchandise. The creation of the spire, the artist, had no intention
of drawing such an object
on the cover. It just so happened thats how it appeared.
Topps:
Phallus on the
C3P0 1978 Topps card?
Its
been rumored that the C3PO 1978 Topps card features a Phallus from the
metal droid.
its not
entirely known if this was on purpose or something that might have fell
off from
the droid
during the photo shoot. From basic understanding this was not done by
a disgruntled
employee of Topps. If you visit the Official Star Wars website, you
might
be able
to find more information regarding this rumor.
Microsoft:
Bill Gates the Anti-Christ?
Might
seem that way doesn't it? Who wouldn't believe that Bill Gates might
be the
Anti-Christ. But unfortunately
this rumor is indeed false. Started as an e-mail rumor, it
brought
forth the idea that Bill Gates, owner of Microsoft was the Anti-Christ.
It was
discovered or thought that the ASCII value of the name Bill Gates added up to 666, the
mark of the beast.
But actually the name in question was Bill Gates III which doesn't add
upto 666. Its
true that Bill Gates might be a major power with the Microsoft Coeporation,
but he doesn't quite hold the power, that most people who don't understand the power
of computers,
think he has. The supposed "Hall of Torture Souls" is or might
be
nothing more then an easter egg. An easter egg is a special suprise, program, game, or
other hidden program inside a program that a programmer might intentionally put
there. In this
case it might as well be nothing more then a game in this case.
