Television Rumors
Rumors of television shows, tv producers, and the actors you've learned
to love.
The Bozo Show:
Was Bozo Really
Told to 'Cram It' by a Youngster Who Lost Bozo's Game?
It is not really
known as to whether or not this rumor is true or false. But based on
many rumors that have
circulated over time it is understood that during one show of
"The Bozo Show",
a child, after losing one of Bozo's games told the famed clown
to "Cram it, clown!".
Of course whether this is true or not is unknown. Many versions
of this rumor have spread
quite far, even going as far to say the young child used
swear words instead
of just "Cram it, clown!". Larry Harmon, creator of The Bozo
Show
had gone on to say the
"Cram it, clown" incident had been true, but Larry is also
known for having some credibility issues..
Countdown:
Random Selected
Letters Spelled "WANKMEOFF" for Game Show Contestants?
Sorry
to burst your bubble, but unfortunately this rumor is not true. There
was never
any case
in which the word "WANKMEOFF" had been created from randomly
selected
words on
the british game show 'Countdown'. If it had the paticular taping of
the show
would have found
itself on the cutting room floor. There is a known episode where the
word "WANKER"
had been spelled out by the contestants from the randomly selected
letters.
Countdown is a show similar to scrabble, where the contestants select
random
letters
from either a selected vowel or consonant. Then try to make the longest
word
possible
from those letters. The show reported that in their airing several contestants
had been
able to make several swear words with the randomly selected letters,
but never
at any given
time had a swear word been generated through the selection process of
the
randomly
generated letters.
